It's Topic Tuesday!

Updated: Dec 31, 2021

Today is Topic Tuesday at Aortic Hope!

Controlling your blood pressure is extremely important whether you have an aneurysm or have had a dissection.

One of the topics discussed in the past with Cardiologist Dr. Stacy Fisher, was how to best take your blood pressure if you find there is a difference in results between arms. Always be sure to consistently take your blood pressure using the arm that yields the higher result as this represents what is going on in the rest of your body.

Do you check your blood pressure in both arms? Is there a difference between left and right arm?
