Today is Medical Monday at Aortic Hope!


It's a new month and a perfect time to talk about how to prepare for new doctor appointments (or follow-up appointments).


In the article titled How to Prepare for a Doctor's Appointment from the National Institute on Aging, the following items are discussed:


-Make a list and prioritize your concerns

-Take information with you to the doctor

-Consider bringing a family member or friend to the doctor’s visit

-Keep your doctor up to date

-Be sure you can see and hear as well as possible

-Request an interpreter if you need one
