As a teenager, Amber Williams was diagnosed with a genetic disorder called Turner Syndrome. In May 2023, as a 35 year old marathon runner, Amber survived an ascending aortic dissection and underwent three open heart surgeries in a short period of time. Now with a completely replaced aorta, Amber is returning to the athletic activities she loves.
